Searchproces
In the execution process of a search, HMS distinguishes the following steps.
During the intake-meeting, HMS has an extensive interview with the client to get a clear picture of the organization, the vacant position as well as the profile of the candidate.
HMS then writes a proposal describing their understanding of the situation, the search process and the conditions under which HMS will conduct the assignment.
Once the proposal has been approved, HMS will draft a position specification that will be fine-tuned in narrow cooperation with the client; at this stage, also a further discussion will take place on target areas and specific target companies.
An intensive search will be initiated to locate candidates with qualifications that closely match the requirements. Qualified candidates will be thoroughly interviewed to obtain a realistic understanding of their accomplishments, capabilities and potential.
Approximately 4 weeks after the start, HMS will present a shortlist of 3 - 5 potential candidates.
HMS will write confidential reports on the candidates being presented, organise meetings between them and the client and will also take any action required in the follow-up process.
HMS will check references on the final candidate and will support the client in the job-offer process, if required.
Once the assignment has been completed and the successful candidate has joined the client, HMS will stay in touch with both the client and the candidate, ensuring that the transition process of the candidate goes smoothly.
